Student Bursaries
TATI Student Bursaries 2026-2027
We’re excited to share that a total of $10,000 in TATI student bursaries is available for 2026-2027. Up to ten $1000 bursaries will be distributed to students who meet the eligibility criteria and are selected by the bursaries adjudication committee.
Application due date: July 15, 2026. TATI students can access the application form by logging in to the student portal.
Eligibility Criteria:
1) Enrolled at TATI in or entering second year of coursework before June 30, 2027 (must complete 8 months of coursework prior to receiving a bursary) in good standing.
For the 2026-2027 bursaries, students must be in or entering 3rd or 4th semester (onsite students), or 3rd, 4th, or 5th semester (distance learning students) between July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027.
2) Identify as Indigenous, Black, trans and/or disabled
The TATI student bursary funds are intended for supporting students in the above equity-deserving groups, in an effort to increase accessibility of art therapy training for individuals who have been historically prevented from accessing art therapy education due to systemic barriers.
3) Demonstrate financial needs and commitment to program completion and art therapy practice
The bursary application form includes open-ended questions for students to share information about their financial needs and reflect on how art therapy education may support their aspirations / practices in contributing to the broader community.
4) Complete application form by due date: July 15, 2026
Terms:
- The bursary amount will be disbursed to the student either in the 3rd or 4th quarter (semester 3 or 4 for onsite program, semester 3, 4 or 5 for distance learning program)
- Maximum of one bursary per student
- Students receiving bursary will receive T4s for the bursary amount
